Catch Up - February

Ok, I know I am way behind so I am going to do just a quick summary for each month I have missed just so I have it recorded for my family.  Here are the happenings for February!
-  February 6 - My grandparents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary and my Grandma's 80th Birthday!  I can't believe they have been married that long.  Many of my cousins and extended family were able to fly in and attend the party.  It was great to see everyone and let all our kids play together.  After the party my youngest sister, Tina, got engaged to her boyfriend Westley.  We can't wait for the wedding!

-  Febraury 15 - We had our ultrasound for our new baby.  I was about 21 weeks along and anxious to see the baby.  An ultrasound just makes it more real.  We never find out what we are having, but it is still fun to get some pictures and see their faces.
-  February 22 - Nicole and Robby participated in their school science fair.  Nicole's project was to see if the direction you went on your paper when doing timed math problems affected how fast you could get them done.  Robby's project was a research project on owl pellets.  They both received participation ribbons and Robby was very upset that he didn't win.  They both worked very hard and we are very proud of them.

4 Months!!

Well I officially hit the 4 month mark this week on Tuesday.  Here is a picture taken on Wednesday.  I have taken a picture each month during my pregnancies with Justin and Robby and it is fun to look back and see the progression and compare one pregnancy to the other.  I wish I had done this with Nicole, but I just didn't ever think of it.  I'm not very big yet and most people don't realize I am pregnant, but that will change eventually.  And yes, I did cut my hair and added some fun highlights.  I was ready for a change.

Snow Days?!?!

Snow Day??  No, this is a snow day!

I guess evetually I will get used to it (we definately aren't in Utah anymore), but they sure do call snow days too quickly here in my opinion.  Nicole and Robby had a "Snow Day" on Thursday and Friday!  There was barely anything on the ground, as you can see below, but I guess Arizona isn't prepared for snowy weather and the storm was expected to drop a lot of snow.  I just wish the school wouldn't call us at 5 in the morning to tell us.  Well at least the kids enjoyed playing in it a little before it melted away.  I am ready for this 4 day weekend to be over and for them to go back to school so I can get stuff done again.  These pictures are from Thursday morning.  We put Justin in an old snow suit we have and he had a blast and didn't want to come back inside.  Don't look too close because it was a little too small, but I didn't have time to dig out a bigger one and he didn't care.  Nicole and Robby tried to build a snowman, but that is hard to do when you only have rocks in the backyard and no grass.  (Sorry for the blurry pictures, my camera is acting up.)

2nd Quarter Awards Assembly

Okay, so here is my first post with pictures, I hope it works.

Nicole earned some awards for second quarter and these pictures are from the awards assembly last Monday.  We are so proud of her.  She made the honor roll, was student of the month for October, and had perfect attendance.  The office messed up and didn't give her the perfect attendance award at the assembly, but found their mistake later.  Robby also earned the perfect attendance award, but had the same problem, so I don't have pictures of his assembly.  The way the assembly works is the principal calls out the name of the award, for example 4th grade honor roll, and then all the students who have received that award line up on the stage.  Then the principal has each student say their name and teacher's name before they go and sit back down with their class.

Justin loves to give me his "cheese" smile whenever he sees the camera.

Happy New Year!!

Well here I go with my first post!  I am determined to keep this updated as the year goes by so those who are not near us can keep up to date on our family and I won't feel so bad for not calling, emailing, or mailing everyone with updates on our lives.  I don't know how to post pictures yet, so you don't get any with this post, but by the next one I should be ready.  My goal for the year is to post at least once a week.  We'll see how that goes!  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!  For those of you who didn't know already, yes, we are pregnant and due June 26th!!  Just like the other kids, we are not going to find out what it is, so you will all just have to be surprised with us.  Stay tuned for a great year from the Miller Family!!
